A poor orphan girl named Maria

Hey there,I have a piece of VERY good news to share with everyone.My mother just received an "EFFICIENCY MEDAL" around 1 pm YESTERDAY;approximately for her outstanding work performance.The award/medal was presented to her by the Prime Minister Of Singapore;Mr Lee Hsien Loong at the "ISTANA".The event was "Investiture Of National Day Award Recipients cum Ceremony 2006".It was supposed to be given by the President of Singapore;Mr S R Nathan,but he is still overseas unfortunately.I thought the news might be out on local television channels yesterday and maybe in the local papers today.I am very proud to be her son as I got an opportunity to go with her and got to sit at the VIP Table 2.Moreover,I am also very priviledged as it is my very first time going to the ISTANA in Singapore!!I have never been there in my life before since birth and when I was young.I have only seen the place on television and in the papers and media before.However,I could not take photos from my handphone as we were not permitted to do so and had to seek permission from the relevant officers at the ISTANA...

Hello,dear bloggers.It is Friday today and also one of my favourite days in the week.However,many people may have noticed that I look very serious and quite uptight on Fridays.There are reasons for my "certain" behaviours almost every week on Friday.But,this aside;I hope all of you (everyone) is happy as it is just a few more hours to the weekends...

Straight down to serious business now....

Recently,I felt very down on a few days since Saturday;28th of October 2006.This lasted a few days or even weeks,I MUST say.I felt very angry and frustrated with myself most of the time.There was utterly no joy,peace in anything I did/do.I began to wonder "why I am experiencing all this,Sir".Any clear-cut solution,anyone??I also reflected on what one of my friend (CG) MEMBER told and spoke to me on Wednesday;25th October 2006.Too many things to absorb abd ponder about.Just wondering (1) Why can't I go for church service every Saturday sometimes??!

Anything to share or comment,anyone??

How do you find me as an individual person and/or human being generally??

Hello,everyone!!!Welcome back to my blog.How is everyone doing?How is life?It has been a very long time since I last blogged and updated my blog.So,here I am today back in action as promised to many people that my blog will be updated soon.Please be patient as I will be typing lots of interesting stuff.Many exciting posts coming up also...

First up,yesterday (Tuesday,14th of November 2006) was "GRATITUDE DAY".I did not and do not know about it.I did not know such a day existed in this world from all the days I have lived my life so far!!Interesting,ah??I only know of days such as "Friendship Day,World Aids Day,Mother's Day,Father's Day,Total Defence Day,Family Day" and so on and so forth.The list just continues on and on,with rambling.Hahahaha...What is "Gratitude Day"?Here is a brief description...Someone sent me to my NEW handphone through SMS yesterday...It is basically a day where we thank everyone and anyone for having been and continuing to be a part of their life/lives...Here is an excerpt of an SMS I received/got yesterday..."Hi all,all have touched our lives in so many ways by words and deeds.We cherish each and everyone of you in our big family.Thank you.Happy Gratitude Day."It should be "BELATED" now since it has passed already... I am just so very hurt,offended,upset and really very confused at this point in my life...I just feel that living on this Earth is worthless and pointless sometimes.I am just very sick and tired of living on this Earth.I wished I was a monk or priest and lead a simple life like them.If I have the option to choose who I want to live with really,I say this from the bottom of my heart that I only want to live and have a relationship with God;Jesus Christ hopefully...

I am very upset and confused now.Am I making or have I made big and trivial mistakes in life?Must I listen to all others say and be influenced by them?Why can't I listen to myself and be myself sometimes?I is very hard for me...I really wonder at many occasions...Is this the true "Prem" OR IS THERE another side of Prem which cannot be shown out so easily,openly,freely and without any interruptions from the external world???Why must there be so many problems and hiccups in my life?Am I born to create problems?Did God create me to be a sinner all my life?Why can't some people accept my decision that I have accepted Christ in my life?Is is so hard for them?Ask them to be in my shoes and be put in my situation!!Who are they to question me the true meaning of "accepting Christ"??How am I to make them understand?Am I obliged to answer every single question thrown to me??Why must they keep using the word "convert" religion to explain things to me??Why do they keep asking me the meaning of "to fully accept Christ"??

If I got the opportunity,I wish I led a life like Jesus Christ all my life and be born as a Christian and understand the trials and tribulations they encounter just like what I am undergoing currently...

I really do not know where I am heading in life...I just feel like giving up and ending my life now,really...What is the point of living to hurt people,especially my mum and my parents and hurt and irritate others??I think I really ought to go to a psychiatrist and examine myself throughly.I think and it looks like I will go MAD very soon!!!I am just sick and too exhausted of living on this Earth!!!

Yes,I believe that the bible says that "those who go through trials and tribulations will carry the glory of God".I do not deny it.It is a fact.Yes,one side of me tells me that I am going to carry that glory which is why I am facing challengs,obstacles from my parents,self etc.Yes,it is normal.We experience and we overcome.If I am firm,I can also.But,the question is "HOW"??What am I to do now??It is not entirely my parents,but also my attitude,relationship and approach towards God to know him better.It is me;I feel like I am mistreating God and shunning away from my life off and on...He is always there,waiting for me at his doorstep.But,I just keep washing him off and on.What am I to do?Has some devil or evil spirit entered into me and brought my life to this state today??I cannot do things based on my emotions.But,something prompts me to do this always;quite often at least.Why?Just tell me why...Please answer me,God.Speak to me,God and please help me to live a better life!!!I beg you...I really need someone to be there for me always!!!

I have experienced God and felt him myself a few days ago.His name is Jesus Christ.I am very proud to say his and your name.You really spoke to me and showed you cared for me on Tuesday,14th February(Valentine's Day).Prayer meeting on this special day in City Harvest Church at the old and previous premises of Jurong West Street 91;really had some impact on me that very night.Even so,right right now as I type this message in my blog.I am glad I attended although my special friend could not be with me;beside me at least.I understand his situation and God does too.That night was a very good and real eye-opener to and for me.I have seen and heard of miracles occur in City Harvest Chirch;but things actually do happen.It is true as I was shaken myself.I was very surprised,shocked and could not believe what was happening to me myself.I was wondering if I was myself for a moment.w143,Jason Chong,and the people surrounding me on my left;right;front;middle;behind me and the usher nest to me saw what was happening to and in me with their own very two eyes!!I do not know if my speciaL friend noticed it;Maybe;he was very busy then.But,I must admit the truth that prayer meeting that night made me less confused,at ease and touched me to some extent.Does anyone have anything to say,comment or add?I will share my whole experience during prayer meeting that night here now.The beginning portion of praise and worship were okay and alright to me.Nothing happened to me then,until worship time and prayer times along the way.I do not know if I was seeing or saw something,but I just closed my eyes and prayed.I also knelt or kneeled ratherand prayed and praised and worshipped at many occasions and instances.Many were looking and admired and were touched by me and my feelings and my actions and my emotions.I could tell as it was very OBVIOUS for all to see!!I guess,at least.My whole heart just felt like overflowing and bursting out.I tried to control myself,but was unable to!!I just began to burst into tears and could not control myself.My hands were shivering;my body began to sweat and water came and trickled out.My cheeks were filled with tears and I began perspiring.I began to feel weak,numb and tired.I was about to fall down thrice as I lost grip of myself.I a, serious!!My body began to feel hot and I was sick then and felt that my sickness was going away slowly.I think I felt God's presence and he was there right before me!!

I think I have made a very hasty decision and made my mind recklessly on Thursday night.Nobody is forcing me and cannot disagree with me as it is my life and how I want my future to be!!I will NOT stop going to City Harvest Church.But,please understand something.Because of the tight fix I am in now,I will feel like coming and going if I have the time.Please do not be unhappy with it!!I will NOT stop coming totally!!It is a great place to be in,really...I will also NOT backslide and completely back out from W143 in City Harvest Church.Nobody is asking to convert and converted me to a Christian!!I am very clear about this now.Thta is not the main aim and what others are doing.They have the right mindset/s and clear thought/s in their mind/s...I will still keep the Bible given to me by someone.BUT,I will lock it up somewhere.I feel that people are asking me to stop certain things for 23 years I have lived in this world.It is so easy as they think...I cannot just drop and stop going to temple/s and drop all other commitments??If I ask them to come to a Hindu temple,will they come or go?No,right.The same goes and applies for and to me.Just be in my shoes and you will realise and know what I am undergoing and suffering now!!I have said this before;but I reinterate ONCE again.I am born as a Hindu,live as a Hindu and die as a Hindu.Nobody in my family has ever converted from one religion to another(ie:Hindu to a Christian and so on and so forth).I feel that talking to all my relatives and most importantly,my parents on Thursday night is a waste of time.I am not going to talk to any more people about this issue EVER again!!!I swear upon God!!All know the TRUTH and I have faced up to telling them the "TRUTH"!!They are aware and sensed I am giving them lame,false,funny and other reasons and excuses I go out,but spend my time in chrch instead.Everybody I spoke to is very frustrated,serious,upset and hurt over this whole matter!!They have threatened to chase me out of my house and disown me if I continue the way I am now.Half my time in church and very little time with my family.What happens or will happen if I am asked to baptise one day??Am I supposed to drop everything?Won't it affect me and other loved ones surrounding me??Just sit down and think.I know how great Christ is and works he does and has done.I am not denying this,but why do most Christians invite others to church and try to convert them?Are we supposed to follow them blindly and listen to what they say?Then,I am a fanatic and am doing thing rashly,foolishly,recklessly,hesitantly and hurriedly!!I have asked to say this from a Christian I know as he is a pure Christian.But,I am not referring to him.Please do not get the wrong impression,dude.Thanks.Have or people trying to do what they are doing to others and brainwash them??This is NOT one aspect of a true friendship with someone!!!I am very stressed and confused about this whole matter the entire week.My actions and words explain it all for those who know me very well inside out!!I still treasure some people as my good and best friends,really!!But,please refrian from talking to me about religion.I am telling everyone reading this now...It is very serious and sensitive.I am sorry to have hurt,offended,upsetand irritated this special person but it is a fact of life.You have to accept it,dude.I am slowly learning to accept it too.Please,I beg you...Thanks...I have nothing more to say to this special person...

I am not saying and here to say I do not trst God!!I do,but there are other ways to know and experience God.Christianity is one of the way/s only.I wil slowly cut down and go less often for my spiritual sessions on weekends.I rarely have time with my family.My whole week is oacked,full,congested and occupied.People have seen for themselves and know it.I have had very little time to rest this whole weel.Thinking about my life for my future,my spiritual walk and realtionship with God etc...Temple is my place of worship.It cannot be neglected so easily...

Hey,everybody,Vanakkam.Arigato,Namaste;Selamat Datang if I am not mistaken;Hi;Hello and so on and so forth.How is everyone doing?I hope everyone is doing fine,is good and is doing well and going with the flow.I am back to update my blog after about a fortnight,I think excluding the recent two posts I put up a few days ago.Wow,time indeed flies very fast like wind.We are in the 14th day and just about slightly more than 100 minutes to the 15th and the middle of this month.It is exactly a fortnight since the brand New Year and this year;2006 has been born.

I think the second portion of my MSN Messenger explains something very clearly.I have to be serious,firm and uptight at this point of time!!Like I said,mentioned and stated down there;I CANNOT be persuaded very EASILY as far as certain issues are concerned!I mean it!!Especially religious and sensitive issues!!Some people are trying to convince,persuade me and do some other funny stuff when it comes to "religious" matters.It WILL NOT WORK!!So,don't try your luck;chance and approach to and towards me.You will ONLY Regret!!Some may know what I am referring to.Please BEWARE!!You know who you are.I won't mention names and embarrass you here!!You know very well what I am trying to say,hint and explain;right?Thanks...

Anyway,many people may not know but I will explain something here right now.Today has been a very relaxed day for me coz I did not go anyway for the FIRST time on a Saturday as I would normally and most of the time every week.I rejected most of the offers!!So sorry,there is a reason for that.Today was an auspicious day for all Indians in Singapore and around the world.It is very difficult for me to explain everything here,so I will do a bit only...It was Ponggal today.Hooray!!Thanks to everyone who wished me "Happy Ponggal" both in Tamil and in English respectively by different modes such as the telephone,SMS and personally.The New Year may have born for us for 14 days now,but a brand new year has just arrived and is born for us;Indians today.

Like the Chinese calendar and other calendars in the world of various religions;Indians also have our own calendar/s.Our New Year starts on the 13th,14th of 15th of January yearly.The first day is celebrated and being marked as Ponggal and the second day is "Maattu Ponggal" and so on and so forth.We also have another day which is also our New Year on 14th April in the same year every year.I do not know why these two days are New Years and marked as one for us;quite strange,weird and surprising.Interesting...If you wish to know more,ask your Indian friends or ask the elderly indians.They will be pleased to explain to you.There are many websites to visit too.

By the way,yesterday was a very special day.Did anyone realise?Make a guess...If you guessed correctly,congratulations.Here is the answer:

Yesterday was "FRIDAY;THE 13TH".Hahaha.There are just so many birthdays this month,especially in my own family.Two babies are born in the month of January in my family.They are my brother and my mother respectively.My brother's birthday just passed last week on Saturday;07th January 2006.He has turned "sweet" 16 finally!!And,it was also my mother's birthday yesterday.Guess her age?Anyone care to play and dare this game??She is 51 now.Nobody might believe or just think and believe that I am pulling your leg!!Nope,I am not doing so.It is true and is a fact!!But,she still looks young;pretty and cheerful as always!!Smile always!!

Yeah,Happy New Year everyone.This is my very post for the year 2006!!I am just so happy today because the New Year;2006 has just born and we are almost into the third hour of this brand New Year:2006.Last year;2005 has been a very great,meaningful,lucky,sentimental,fruitful and also a year where I became closer to God spiritually!!Many events occurred and took place both in office;at work and outside as well.I just hope that this year will be a even better,fantastic,marvellous,greater,more meaningful,lucky,sentimental and fruitful year for me.

It is Christmas Day and I am just so elated,despite what I went through yesterday!!I just cannot seem to sleep.Bed is so far away from me and I wish I could celebrate Christmas and the New Year everyday 24/7:24 hours,7 days a week all year round.Had a very meaningful chat and conversation with Mardiah,my Secondary School friend and we are still very good and close friends till this very day...She has NOT forgotten me and neither have I neglected and totally forgotten about her.A very nice,pleasant,understanding and lovely girl.But,too bad guys;she is ATTACHED so you can't bookmark her!!So sad and lonely,right?But,what to do?This is life...

Well,she asked me if I did not go for the annual Christmas Countdown at Suntec City;Sentosa or something?Is there such a celebration and countdown?I didn't know...I am only aware of such "BIG and GRAND" celebrations when the brand New Year approaches.Anyway,thanks to her for the information.I thought she went,but she said she did not.She hates crowds and has curfew;gotta be home by 10p.m.Did anyone out there or here go?Please update and fill me in with more and further details...I really wish and am interested to know more...It is so quiet online.Do not know why and do not see much people online as well.

Here is a short update of what I plan and want to do up ahead this whole and very faithful Christmas Day 2005...

(1)Pray to God that my year ends with a "BANG" and do not put me into misery,loneliness,disappointments and upsets...

(2)Open all the Christmas presents,gifts,cards I received and also not forgetting SURPRISES,SURPRISES AND MORE SURPRISES...

(3)WIsh everyone "Merry Christmas 2005 and a Happy New Year 2006".

(4)Have 3 functions to sttend all in a row.Can you believe it?My weekly spiritual session from 5.30 to 7 plus p.m,but gotta leave early around 6.30 from Jurong East as I have another Christmas function and party in Clementi from 7 to 9 odd at night.Besides,I also have to go for another 21st Birthday celebration of the daughter of one of my close relatives.This is after 8 hopefully,so got to rush off from the Christmas function and party in Clementi.Wish I,my parents,relatives and siblings could stay longer at all three places;but it is IMPOSSIBLE!!We only have a limited amount of time at each place.But,the fun part is we get to EAT,drink,be merry,celebrate together,indulge in surprise after surprise,get and receive and exchange gifts and presents,get and receive cards and have a great time!!Hooray,very interesting;right?Anyone care to join us also??

(5)Discuss with somebody about my life decision and explain it to him to make him understand and know the situation/s I am in presently and currently.I will not mention names.You know who you are...

(6)Try to watch City Harvest Church Christmas Celebration Service I missed at the Singapore Expo Hall 8 yesterday;from 1 p.m to around 3 plus in the afternoon later today.

Hi,everyone.I am back with more updates and posts in my blog.I am supposed to be feeling very happy,excited,all geared up and eager that it is just less than an hour to Christmas 2005.But,something very upsetting occurred late this evening and I kinda lost my mood and spirit in celebrating now.Very,very,very,very upset;hurt;disappointed;regretful;frustrated and feel like banging my head against the wall or something and throwing a hard stone at someone.I will not go and do not wish to go into further details...It is some personal problem in my house.That is the main gist.Thanks.

Hey,everyone.How are all of you doing?I hope everyone,all my dear bloggers and my good friends are very fine out there.I am very happy to be back to blogging after a very long time.Yes,I have not blogged for almost four months now and many people have given me lots of feedback,suggestions and comments.Thank you so much,everyone.All your comments,feedback and suggestions have been and were taken into careful consideration.Some told me "GO UPDATE YOUR BLOG LAH;IT IS SO DEAD HERE" while others told me "Throw Away Your Blog;No Updates And Nothing Done To Improve It".Some others also told me that they were waiting to see what updates and interesting events have occurred in my life just in these four months that I was away from Blogger and from Blogging.Your questions;prayers and doubts have been answered now.Yes;I keep my promise and do not go against it!!

I am just so happy today.As you can see from another portion of my MSN Messenger,I am counting down to 2006.Yes,it is just exactly 13 days to the end of 2005 and for 2006 to come.We are approaching,entering and experiencing the last lap of this year.I am very happy for another reason also.I am on leave all the way till the end of this year;for the next 10 days or so.I decided to take leave from work to rest,clear up some things and enjoy the last portion of this year with my family,relatives and long-lost friends as well;hopefully.So,welcome back to Mr Prem's Blog;everyone!!

Hello,everyone.This is a very important announcement from me. Please read this post very carefully and seriously.Thank you very much.This is probably going to be the last time I blog online. I am not going to blog online for quite a long time until maybe the fourth quarter of this year,2005 or early next year;2006. I actually thought of deleting my blog at times;sometimes too.My reasons are as follows:

(1) What is the point of blogging when it is not updated,rite everyone??

(2) I feel like blogging online and posting messages in my blog just like others most of the time,but just do not have the mood,lose my mood to do so,too lazy,afraid of typing long postings to bore others etc etc...

(3) There is a drastic difference in my blog as compared to other blogs I see.

(4) I have too many things,events etc in my brain to wash off. Those who know me and have spoken to me personally will understand and get what I mean.

(5) There is not much improvement or changes made to my blog since I have become a blogger from late April this year. Do not know how to go about making changes and do not feel like doing so also.

(6) Many blogs I visit and read are about Christianity which irritates,amazes,surprises and shocks me most of the time.I will not mention names here.You know very well who you are...

(7) I have already told some people that I am NOT prepared to convert to a Christian or accept Christianity as a religion in my life and also explained why. So,please stop asking me this question!!Thanks.

(8) People ask me "You go to church??I say yes. They ask me whether I am going to convert to a Christian. I say NO.They even go further saying I or we thought Indians cannot convert to another or other religions.I say ya,it's true." Mind you,it's not EASY as A,B,C to do so as well.

(9) Sometimes,I feel like blogging. But,it is related to work and I do not wish to do so as they contain and comprise of both dreadful,heartwarming,sad and irritating events. Other kinds of events bringing about different kinds and mixed feelings also have lah. But,prefer not to talk about WORK here. That is the best option and alternative for now.

(10) I am busy most of the time. Where to even find or spare time to blog and post messages or even comments,for some in some people's blogs which I did regularly and often last time. Get my point,everyone??

LESSONS I HAVE LEARNT IN LIFE.

These are the lessons I have learnt in life. They have changed and revolved my life to some extent. Do feel free to add on to this list...

(1) Do not CRITICISE others.

(2) Learn to be patient. Patience does more good than harm.

(3) Respect others,especially your elders;superiors;seniors and immediate bosses.

(4) Do what is required of you and be willing to put in the extra effort and go the extra mile when the time and need arises.

(5) Be considerate and think about others. Your actions, deeds and words might HURT OTHERS although we might not know and be aware of it ourselves.

Sometimes, I feel that I must listen to myself. But, most of the time; I listen to what my friends say. Is it wrong to do so? If so,why?

Looking Back At The Past Week.

Dear Diary, Vanakkam. How are you ? Did you miss me? Hi,hello, ni how ma, arigato. This is my very first posting in my blog or rather the second since my blog was created two days ago. There was a mistake in my first post. The first sentence was supposed to read as "Welcome to MY new blog everyone". The result of typing too fast without checking made me regret. I only realised the mistake after I posted the message. So embarrassing...

Wow,wow,wow;time flies very quickly just like the wind blowing. I just wonder how the Earth can revolve around the Sun so fast in 365 fays, and 366 days in a leap year. Ok,here's a look back at the past week for me. I was not unaware that I have so many nicknames and names in my life, man. They range from Prem, to Mr Bean to Nerd, jerk, Mr Sexy Guy. Baby Pra/em, Mr Longkang Idol, Mr Moo, Moo-Man, Pa-ma-li, Prema, premi, premo, Premadaasa, Doctor Prem, PREMNATH and the list just carries on...

NSSC's 1st anniversary is approaching. I'm thinking whether I should sing then. But,then, a question arises in my mind. What language to sing in and wad song/s would be appropriate for selection? English, Chinese, Malay, Tamil, Hindi, Japanese??
